BocceFest San Diego -Where Bocce Meets Beer combines Rotary’s 20+ year history of turf Bocce tournaments with San Diego’s growing craft beer industry. This combination leads to a day of fun and friendship for players, sponsors, and spectators while funding programs that change the entire lives of individuals and their families for the better in San Diego and the world.
The Del Mar–Solana Beach Rotary Club hosts BocceFest San Diego. DMSB Rotary is a leadership organization made up of local business, professional and civic leaders, and others with an interest in service and personal growth. We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships, and, through that, do many good things for others that enrich our lives and grow our professional capabilities.
Our club members like to get involved with hands-on projects in the area. In July of every year club members, along with their families and friends, provide thousands of chilled bottles of water to participants and volunteers at the Veteran’s Village Stand Down event for homeless Vets.
Bocce tournaments in the past and, now, BocceFest San Diego are the club’s primary fundraiser. Over the past 20+ years, we have invested over $625,000 back into the local and international community. One of our most recent investments was a $25,000 grant to Solutions for Change, a San Diego non-profit dedicated to solving family homelessness in San Diego.
We enjoy great friendships and have fun with our fellow Rotarians. Holiday parties, theater nights, game nights are all part of the fun!

We meet weekly on Friday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the Del Mar Hilton. There, we meet our friends, enjoy breakfast, manage our club activities, and enjoy learning from a new, informative speaker every week.
